Professionally, Vickie Weaver has spent decades in freelance journalism, as well as in technical and nontechnical writing, editing, and training, especially since 1996 in her small company, Writestyle.

This is Weaver’s fourth book. Her first two were a biography, Dancing in the Stars, and a rhyming picture book, My Child, I’ll Still Be Loving You (2015). This spring, she coauthored and coedited an anthology of historical fiction / nonfiction short stories, Women Who Shaped America, by the Wright Writers of Dayton, where she has been an active member since 1988.
